Ito Group was started in 1946 with the founding of the Ito Chemical Works Company. We started out as a manufacturer, have created, sold, and merged with manufacturers as we matured, and have never lost that spark to build the next great thing.

| 1984 August | Signed patent sales contract with Hitachi, Ltd. For TAF-II plating equipment and resist products |
| 1984 September | Entered into export/import partnership with Elform Incorporated of the United States |
| 1991 March | Merged Ito Yakuhin KK with Reinke International Corporation to form Ito Corporation |
| 1994 January | Established Ito America Corporation in the United States |
| 1996 February | Established Ito Systems Engineering in Japan |
| 1998 April | Opened the Ito Corporation European Office in Italy |
| 1999 November | Ito Systems Engineering name changed to ISE Corporation |
| 2002 August | Opened Ito Corporation Shanghai Office in China |
